I took apart the old engine...

Piston 4 (passenger side)

When this engine fires, piston 1 & 4 fire at the same time. So, this engine toasted itself on this stroke. The other two pistons are fine, but since it will need a big overbore, all 4 pistons will need to be replaced.

Can you feel the beat?!? Kickin' it old skool.

House warming party en Français

Mélanie is back at work and we were talking about houses. She said that a house warming party is "pendre la crèmaillère" or a pot hanging party, as in hanging pots on one of those racks in your kitchen.

I thought it was a funny and interesting tidbit. Just a tid though.

House closing date!

We officially are moving to the new place onJune 29. We are bridge-financing for a day so our place will close on June 30.

How many activities can you do in 24 hours?

1. Filled the car up with gas.
2. Got McD's breakfast YUM
3. Drove through the park (5 hours including breaks)
4. Checked in to the resort!
5. Went snow-tubing!
6. Went swimming!
7. Got greasy pizza (there was more cheese than crust...)
8. Watched Wallace and Grommit - Curse of the Wererabbit
9. Drank wine/watched TV/fell asleep (this all happened at the same time).
10. Made some bacon and eggs
11. Went snowshoeing
12. Packed up
13. Checked out
14. Went to the arcade (at the resort)
15. Went to a pub for lunch (also at the resort)
16. Drove back home (4.5 hours)
17. Picked up a roasted chicken, a cuke and some buns
18. Watched 'Robots'
